Philippe J. Weil

Philippe began his career in the financial service industry 25 years ago as an apprentice at Bank Julius Baer in Zurich where he was trained in the fine art of Swiss banking.

After graduating from the KV Zurich Business School with a general banking education, Philippe launched his career working in the Securities Back Office at Bank Julius Baer. In 1989 he joined the Zurich subsidiary of E. Gutzwiller & Cie, Banquiers, a Basel based Private Bank, as Assistant. From 1991-1995, Philippe gained valuable trading experience at JPMorgan Ltd. (Switzerland) as Market Maker in Fixed Income and Fixed Income Derivatives (Options and Futures). Philippe completed the prestigious JPMorgan Global Financial Markets Program, acquiring in-depth knowledge of financial markets and financial engineering. In 1995, having obtained the crucial trading and private banking experience necessary, Philippe became Private Banker joining the Republic National Bank of NY in Zurich where he serviced his first personal clients. In 1997, after immigrating to Israel, Philippe joined the Union Bank of Israel. He quickly rose to set up and head the International Private Banking Division of the bank's main branch located in Tel Aviv - Israel's economic center.

In 2001 Philippe left Union Bank to launch his own firm, P.J.Weil Ltd. - Individual Wealth Management and Consulting. In 2003 he established his second company, P.J. Weil Trust (2003) Ltd., and in 2005, founded Belsito Asset Management Ltd. in partnership with Liz Moradov.

Today Philippe is actively running this Multi-Family Boutique functioning as Director, Trustee, Board Member, Wealth Manager, Consultant and "Personne de Confiance" to a number of globally selected families of wealth.



Philippe lives in Tel Aviv with wife Orly and their 3 children: Michael, Aya, and Ela. Philippe contributes actively to the community through his involvement with a number of notable charities.
